Pgm-fi dash board warning light is on. What do I have to do. ALSO: car failed smog inspection. The CO count was to high. Was told that the car is running to rich. How do I get it to pass smog.

Hi dsoloist,

Vehicle is equipped with On board diagnostics and you can check the LED lights on the ECU to determine what is at fault causing the PGM-FI indicator light to show.

Turn ignition switch ON and count the LED flashes and let me know what you find. Code flashing would cycle once it completes falshing the trouble codes.

ECU is located at left quarter panel.
