Hi dotanha,

Thank you fo the donation.

When cranking speed is slow, the required compression might not be achieved so it will not fire up. After a rew cranks it will flood as excessive fuel is getting into the cylinders. This would sometimes cause the sparks plugs to foul up and might short them as well.

If a fully charged battery works, then there is nothing else that you need to check.

This car has been sitting for a long time it starts one time sounds great but few days after that. It cranks slow now. Could it be jumped out of timing? Am I going to be able to get this engine somehow? Or, should I buy new engine? What do you recomend?

Hi,

If the battery is weak, it would not crank fast enough to start. I would suggest getting a jumper to try and start.

After sitting without starting over long period of time, if the battery is failing or there is a drain, the battery would not be strong enough to start. Engines do not go bad easily after sitting for some time.
