1995 Honda Passport problems with acceleration

When I'm driving and accelerating, the engine drags a little, then picks speed, Is this a transmission problem?

Hi Gideon Bruce,

It could be engine or trans depending on various factors.
Could be engine hesitation causing the problem.

Does the Engine rpm shoots up or boggs down at that instant?
Does it happen at any given speed?
