I'm not sure if sputters/lags is the right wording. My Odyssey will make like a clicking noise briefly at times while driving. It tends to happen when light pressure is on the accelerator to maintain speeds and normally only happens at like 25 MPH, 35 MPH. If you accelerate quickly, the noise/problem does not happen. The RPMs get "stuck" so to speak and you have to let off the accelerator to get rid of the problem and then can push down on the accelerator again. It does not always happen. It seems that the speed you are going and the pressure on the accelerator makes a difference in whether or not it occurs.

Thanks for the info. Is there an easy way to test those things? I am not a mechanic so how would I inspect and test to see if they are working? Or do I have to take them somewhere?
