The van will not allow us to shift into gear, ie from park to drive. Any idea why?

Hi jobrien62,

The interlock is malfunctioning preventing the gearshift to be shifted out of park.

Check if the brake lights are working, if not, check the brake fuse under hood and brake pedal switch located on the pedal support under dash.
