I had the oil and filter changed last week and the car developed an oil leak at the plug. The garage replaced the plug then the gasket but the leak continues. We cant find a crack in the pan.
any ideas?

Hi j connors,

If the leak is from the drain plug, most probably the oil pan side of the drain plug has been distorted due to overtightening and the new gasket is not seating flatly to seal completely.

Loosen the drain plug slightly and use some packings material to wrap around the threaded part of the drain plug before retightening the drain plug.
