1996 Honda Odyssey Added Freon- now car sluggish

I added Freon to my wifes car and now the car runs sluggish. When you come to a stop the ac cycles in a way that the car almost cuts off, also makes funny noises. Car runs fine w/o ac running

Hi Rhoyle,

Seems you have overfilled the freon and it is causing the compressor to work heavy. You would need a pressure gauge to test the operating pressure of the compressor to confirm if that is the cause.
