Transmission problem
1995 Honda Odyssey 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Is it ok to use Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF in my 1995 Honda Odyssey? I just bought used and it shifts hard. I checked the transmission fluid and it was low, and brown with a burnt smell so I added the above fluid it didnt seem to fix the problem.

Hello,

You need to do a filter and fluid change on it. What you call shifting hard is probably the tranny slipping then catching the gear which will make it feel like a hard shift.

Being Brown and Smelling Burnt means the fluid has lost it's ability to perform.
