My care is making a noise that you lead one to believe it may be ou tof alignment but, when I take my hands off the steering wheel. It drivves fine no pull to the left or right. Could this be a wheel balance issue and how esxpensive is it to fix?

Most wheel shops charge around 6 or 7 bucks per wheel to balance and mount them. Is it a grinding type noise or what exactly? Could be many things such as worn suspension components or faulty brake components etc.

Does it come from the right front or left front area? Sounds like you may have a failing wheel bearing. Is it louder at higher speeds?

Well if it is a faulty wheel bearing then it will be approx. $225 to have it replaced, that is labor + parts.
