1994 Honda Del Sol distributor

My 1994 Del Sol turns over but the spark does not appear when I checked it so I know I either need a coil or a part in the distributor. Do I need to replace both? I already replaced the fuel pump but it still doesn't start. It sounds like it's about ready to start but it doesn' turn over. Just trying to find out what part I need to buy so I can get it fixed. Thank you.

Hi pjb6575,

Check for power supply to distributor Black/Yellow wire with ignition switch on. If power is available, test the igniton coil primary and secondary resistance.

If within specs, you need to replace the ICM.
