OBD code P1890, what does it mean and what to be done for rectification?

That code is generally used on the CVT transmissions in later years, not the automatic one you have. It isn't even listed as a valid code for the 2012 CR-V. Honda has a software update for some vehicles that have that code, but they need to have the CVT transmission that they started using in 2015. As such I would erase the code and see if it returns. The software update won't work on your 2012.
