My wife, (this is her car) was just told after her 3rd oil change, that at the next one she would need to have all fluids drained and refilled. What does this consist of and why would it cost $400.00? I believe I can do this myself for a whole lot cheaper and alot less time and still not void the warranty since this is something I went to school for? As long as I document all work performed it should be ok right? Also, why can't I find a repair manual for the same model?

The $400.00 is probubly for 30 K Service that they may do half of if this is Dealership quote. Your a Tech, so do it. On your rear diff, make sure you use Honda "Dual Pump Fluid". Do not use anything else even if someone sez you can. Then do trans, coolant, all fluids basicly. If you want to take good care of CRV, use a power bleeder & do brake fluid & pwr. Steer fluid. W/pwr. Steer, suck some out of resivoir, refill, drive a day or 2, do it again for a couple days 'till you think it's all new. Replace all crush washers for drain plugs, reusing them will cause problems w/threads. You can reuse 1 time, I flip them over. Replace fuel filter & air filters. Your cabin filter for a/c is b-hind glove box. TRY mitchell1. Com for service manual, it's only $13.00 for a week & it is exactly like manufacturers manual. While you have it, make some copy's of things like brakes, wheel bearings & any maintenence items you think you may want instructions for, then you won't have to rent it every time. Good Luck !
