Hi,

I just brought a pre-owned 2007 Honda CRV 2 months ago, I've put about 1,800 miles on it. Before driving out of town I wanted to check my oil. But, my dipstick is stuck and it has black sticky/oil stuff around it. Do you know of anything that I could spray on it to loosen it up?

Thanks!

Liz

Spray it liberally with WD-40 to dissolve some of the sludge. It sounds like the prior owner was slack on oil changes and yo have some burnt oil built up.
