2007 Honda CRV 2007 Honda CRV makes noise backing & tur

My Honda CRV 2007 make a noise when turning while backing up and when turning and again when turning and moving forward from a stopped position. This noise seems to be worse the last few weeks. Had it put on a rack and nothing is rubbing. My Mechanic says it is the automatic 4 wheel drive. Cannot do anything about it. This noise makes me worry that something bad is about to happen to may car. Love the car otherwise.

Hi mspainhour,

Seems you are having a problem with the differentials.

There was a Technical Service Bulletin on this and you should contact the nearest Honda dealer to verify if you are entitled to a warranty on the case.

Likewise, an oil change of the rear axle differential might solve the problem. You should ONLY use the specified Honda DPSP trans fluid.
