Hi, can anyone help me find the IACV? I searched around and cannot locate any information on where it is located on the vehicle. Thanks

Hi,

I managed to get a pix of the throttle body and IAC.

The IAC is attached to the lower part of the throttle body

Great, thanks a million. I saw that but was reluctant to tamper with it.

Hi carmanmt,

What is the reason you want to fiddle with it?

Hi,

If the idling speed ia erratic then it could cause high fuel consumption but if the idling speed is correct, the IAC is ok. You can clean by spraying carb clreaner into the lower port of the throttle body which is into the IAC. Let it soak and wait for the carbcleaner to dry out before attempting to start.

I normally uses spurts when spraying with engine running and air cleaner hose off. Try to rev the engine slightly to prevent it from stalling.
