Engine problem
2004 Honda CRV 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 87,000 miles

Purchased this 2004 CRV with 30K miles. Now has 86K miles. The car recently started lurching forward immediately after making a complete stop. Scheduled an appt. W/ Honda dealer to take a look at and have 90K mile recommended maintenance service. En route to dealership, ck. Engine light came on. Dealer indicated ck. Engine light provided code that Throttle Plate Sensor (TPS) needed to be replaced. Had that replaced and recommended maintenance performed. Dealer could not duplicate lurching. Left dealership & lurching continued. Took it back to dealer & they advised it is likely due to worn motor mounts. Cannot see how such pronounced lurching is motor mounts. Upon slowing to a complete stop, the car lurches foward as if my foot slipped off the brake and I quickly reapplied brake. Another description is after slowing to a complete stop, the car lurches forward as if I quickly apply the brake again. Has been doing this consistently for a week with each stop I make. Not sure if this is a transmission issue or other? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Could be mounts, but i'd bet on the throttle plate being dirty. This would also set a tps code. I wonder if they took the time to clean the plate?
