Hi,

One day while I was driving I heared a whsiting noice and after stopping the car at the signal it stopped automatically. I have restarted the engine and put it in Drive 2 and then it moved. After that I have noticed that a/c is not cooling.

I have checked it with a repair shop and he said the Compressor is gone and I had to replace the Compressor + Condensor

Q1. Do I need to change the Condensor with the Compressor?

Q2. Where can I buy Honda CRV OEM Compressor and Compressor? Please provide the part number

Q3. How much would be the replacement cost for it? Not from the dealer but from some local repair shop.

Regards
Deepak

Q1- I am not sure why you would have to replace the condenser with the compressor, unless there is a fear of metal deposits in it, or leaking. I would consider replacing the expansion valve, as metal contaminants in the system can clog it.
Q2- The part information is courtesy of ALLDATA. Prices may not be current.
