My CRV vibrates when I accellerate or step on the gas at all. I can feel the vibration in the gas pedal. It does not happen at all if I take my foot off the gas. The vibratiuon increases with my speed. The faster I drive, the more noticeable and disconcerting the vibration. What is causing this? Is it safe to drive?

Hi stk29855,

If the vibration occurs even when taking off, the most likely fault is a misfiring.

If the vibration occurs only after the vehicle is in motion, the likely cause is a faulty drive train joint either at the inner CV joints or the propeller shaft U joints.

The above does not affect safety but it should be rectified asap to avoid damages to other related parts as the vibration can cause strees to them.
