I got a flip down DVD player and monitor from an ebay seller and got an installer to install it for me. Works fine but the moment I got home the monitor works fine but the dvd player refused to work. Called the seller and agreed to change the PCD board. Everything works ok before fixing on the roof but the moment it's on the roof the dvd player again refused to work. Yesterday went to purchase a 2 din head unit to connect to the flip down monitor. Might as well use the monitor and play dvd from the head unit. Works ok at the shop but after driving back home, the head unit is a little crazy and I can't view any dvd playing from the fip down monitor. Is the something wrong with the wiring and grounding?

Since this is an aftermarket part, it's a little hard for me to say. Honestly, if it works at the shop then stops by the time you get home, I would say it has something to do with the quality of the unit itself. Does it completely shut down or just not work properly?
