Hi I just got my wheel cylinder and rear brake shoes changed although I have noticed a tapping sound as if something is hitting something, although it stops when I brake, I went back to the garage and they said it ill eventually go away, although i'm quite concerned as its the brakes, can someone please advice me on this matter.

I believe you are referring to the rear brakes and the drum? I think also that what you are experiencing is the brake system trying to adjust itself. It needs to tighten itself up with the self tighteners. My only concern is that when you put in new brake shoes you should bring the adjustment close and then slip on the drum. I assume they did not do this and are letting the system work the rachet assembly. It should even out.
