Clanking noise in 1995 Civic

Recently, whenever I make a right hand turn whether I am braking or not I hear a clanking or knocking noise emanating from the back of the car. It sounds like it might be something related to the axle or shocks/struts, but not being a mechanic I'm not really sure? Any ideas as to what this might be? Where should I look and what should I be looking for? Thanks.
