Hi Luisp813,

O2 sensor is installed on the exhaust manifiold.

The trans is not electronically controlled and the speedometer does not affect it. The trans is faulty internally possibly due to the followings :
1. Clutch Pressure control valve stuck.
2. Modulator valve stuck
2. 1-2 shift valve stuck.

It shifts from 1st to 2nd but not 3rd and 4th and in order to fix that do I have to unmount the whole transmission

It may be possible to replace the external solinoid pack but the problem could be easily fixed by cleaning and reinstalling the old solonoids be shure to install all new "O" rings

This trans does not have any shift solenoids. The solenoids you see on the trans are the lock-up solenoid A and B.
