Blinking immobilizer icon?

Honda Civic LX 2001, 110000 mi, 1.7L, auto.

The immobilizer icon (green key) on the dashboard is blinking after I start the engine and while car is in motion. What's wrong?

This sounds like the system got out of sync, let try a hard system reboot to see if that helps, here is the guide to help you
