HI, I have a question about my Honda civic. I bought this car new a year ago. Every time I make a right turn (especially going up or down hills) there is popping noise coming from the right side of the car. I can't tell if it is the front or rear. This veh. Has been in a minor wreck in Feb. 08, but did have to have to the frame pulled a bit. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Also, front right wheel "bottomed out" while backing over ditch. Sound began soon after. Sounds like rubber or plastic is hitting the tire when turning. I have checked and see nothing loose. Any ideas?

Hi breezluv32,

Noise related problems are almost impossible to diagnose over cyber space, we can only try to understand and provide you with some idea what to look for.

There are a few possibilities that I can offer.

1. Engine mounts not properly secured or out of alignment.
2. Tires brushing against fender liners.
3. Brake backing plate too near rotor.
4. Splash guards too near and brushing against CV shafts.
