Hi, my passenger window recently stopped going back up. I pulled out the motor and regulator to see if the motor was bad. I put a volt meter to the connection wires to see if there was power getting to the motor and there was. I assumed it was a dead motor. I replaced the motor and hooked everthing back up, including the window. I then tested my work and the window only would go down, and not up. I tried to use the driver side switch and the motor didn't work at all. I then disconnected everything again and tried the motor. It would only spin in one direction. Does this mean the switches for the windows are bad or is the relay needing to be replaced. If so, where is it. Thank you.

Hi Windsor_Honda,

From the symptoms described, I would say the switches are bad. The motor works up and down with reversed power supply and if a switch has a faulty ciruit, it would not provide the complete circuit necessary to work the motor.
