I heard a pipe burst and smoke came from car then antifreeze leaked out and before that air conditioner was going in and out with hot and cold air. Do you think the Compressor needs to be replaced and also is the car okay to drive?

Hi holloman26,

The compressor kicking in and out could be due to the engine overheating.

Since anti freeze has leaked, it should be rectified, failing which it could damage the engine, if it has not aready done so, and cause expensive repairs.

I would advise against driving the vehicle till the overheating is rectified.
