My mechanic said im going to need engine mounts pretty soon I curious how much does it cost I know the engine has to be lifted out because these mounts hold the engine inside the car.



also can1 engine mount be changed or does it have to be all. I need a estimate of how much please.

Hi PATCHES10,

The labor time for replacement of the engine mounts are 2 hours.

Mounts can be replaced individually but if they are of similar age, otheres would soon give way even if they are not faulty yet.

Total cost of OEM parts should be about $460 as listed in our database.

Engine need not be lifted out for replacement of the mounts, supporting them with jacks would do.
