There is times when the AC works cold, then you turn off the car and when you go to turn back on it will not work. Also when I change the knob to blow air to the front windshield glass the AC turns on automatic and I can't turn it off. But if I change it to blow to us, then I can press the button to turn off the ac. Is that suppose to happen?

I'm not quite sure what might be going on when you turn car off, then back on. I can tell you that A/C comes on automaticly in defrost mode & no, you can not turn it off. This measure was performed by several manufaturers because several people will begin to drive vehicle no matter if they can see out the windsheild or not. When the A/C is on, it clears the window considerably faster. "SAFETY" is the reason. If you or someone you know is mechanically inclined, you can get service manual online. I use "Mitchell-1" manuals myself. $13.00 for 8 days & they are EXACTLY like the Manufacturers Manuals. It acually sez, "Complenments of Honda Motor Co." Or whichever make you order. I'm sure you will be able to solve your other issue. Good Luck.
