2000 Honda Civic O2 sensor////converter

I replaced my o2 sensor to solve a problem with passing emissions this worked for 2 months and then the check engine light came on again. A seperate code different from the first one(heater circuit bank1 one sensor 2) p0141. I replaced the catyltic converter as a mechanic suggested after this but the engine light persists with the same code. PLease help

That code has nothing to do with the cat converter. Did you replace the o2 at the rear of vehicle behind converter? Get back to us

Yeah the downstream o2 sensOr I bought a universal BOSCH one

thank you for your reply im really stumped and have minimal repair experience

i was told if the new o2 sensor did not fix a downstream sensor code then I should replace the cat

Those bosch universal o2's are hit or miss, I find. The code is actually for the heater element, id install a oem one.
