I just changed my 2000 civic Si motor, but I put in the same 1.6 D series motor. When I start the car it keeps stalling out when I let go the gas. After five or ten minutes of giving constent gas the car is back to running fine and the idle settles. What could be my problem.
Thanks in advance
Daniel

Is the check engine light on? If so what is the DTC?

Sounds like you have an IACV issue. It is probably not compensating for the cold engine. That, or the ECT isn't plugged in, or is also giving a false reading.

Most of these issues will throw a DTC though.
