2000 Honda Civic Engine Malfunctioning Light

3 weeks before I parked my car on car park and went out of teh country, last night when I back and start my car, the engine malfunctioning light flashes continuesly, I perform all teh basic checks, like oil checks but nothing wrong, what would be the reason and how engine malfunctioning while the car is parked open air for 3 weeks without moving.

can you suggest.

If the engine light is flashing that means that you have an engine mis-fire.

You may just need a tune-up. I would suspect you have moisture build up in the cap.
