I live in nevada just wanted to know what I should ask when I go and buy a catalytic converter?What brand I should buy and what is a price range to replace the catalytic converter for a 2000 honda civic ex?

Universal ones range from typically $100-$150. But they have to be welded on.

If you are looking for a direct fit, bolt on cat, you might be spending closer to $300-$500 depending on where you go
