1999 Honda Civic my cars is heating up

I have a 99 civic dx 4 door 1.6 single cab
and everytime I go out and drive for like 15 min and I stop at a light my temperature strarts to rise up but when I take off from the light the temperature starts to get back to normal some people tell me is my waterpump or my heads

Sounds like you have a cooling fan issue. It could be the fan switch is reacting too slow causing the fan to come on to late, or the fan isn't coming on at all.

Some possible causes are:
fan relay
fan fuse
fan motor

fan switch
