Hi. I have two questions
1. My clutch has lost pressure. And I have to pump the clutch several times to gain some pressure before I can engage the gears into any first, second, third, fourth, fifth or reverse. What could be the cause of this problem.

2. When I turn my steering wheel to the right it makes a sound like its stretching something but when I turn to the left its ok. I am not sure what is the problem. It is definitely not the shaft as I know the sound a shaft makes when it is messed up.
Thanks. Appreciate any help on these matters.

1. Check your master and slave cylinder for leaks.

2. Where is the noise coming from? The wheels? Suspension? Inside the vehicle? Steering wheel?

Check the clutch fluid level. If level is correct, the clutch master cylinder is weak and would require replacement.

If level is low, there is a leakage somewhere and you need to visually inspect for leakages at the master, slave cylinder and the hydraulic lines.

I am changing the slave cylinder today but my mechanic told me there is no way to tell if the master cylinder has leaks. Is that true? I knew that my slave cylinder had a slight leak about 9 months ago but my mechanic said I could wait on repairing that. But now I am getting that replaced.
The noise is coming from the steering wheel I think.
Thanks for the reply.
