1998 Honda Civic Front Wheel Drive Manual 245000 miles

i own a 98 civic SI 2 door. My heater doesn't seem to be acting right. It only works when I push on the gas. " Driving" but when I come to a stop at a red light it blows just regular air from out side.

its winter and i'm cold :(

Start by checking your coolant level. You have to have enough coolant for the heat to work. If your coolant is more than 3 years old, consider flush and refill. Check thermostat.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
