How to reset the computer in a honda civic after changing the alternator and replaceing the battery. The battery is brand new along with alternator.

2 ways to do it: Either disconnect the negative battery terminal for 20 seconds, or go to the right hand side of the front of the car (under the hood), remove the cover for the fuse box, and take out the "BACK UP / RADIO" 7.5 amp fuse for the same amount of time. You'll lose all your radio presets, but the reset will be done.
