So I Got A 98 Honda Civic DX. The Car Is Salvage. It Got Flooded. The Engine Looks Clean And It Runs Good. The Mileage Reads 200,000 But I Have A Doubt That Its Not The Original Engine. How Can I Find Out If The Engine Was Replaced? Is There Any Serial Number I Have To Compare?

You can call the dealer and give them the vin number and they will tell you the engine number and you can check it that way if they dont match then there you go! But if they do then either its the stock or someone could have replaced it with the same type of engine.
