1997 Honda Civic Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Manual 200600 miles

My car ran extremely hot one day and it stop on me. Ihad a hole in radiator.I was able to get it repair with new radiator and new cooling fan sensor. It runs good but when I get in traffic it gets hot what should it do. I dont here any knocking or valves tapping. Also no smoke

Hi there,

make sure that the fan is turning on when the temp is up. Check that the thermostat is working, check that the radiator cap is holding pressure. These can be checked very quickly by your mechanic.
