The engine starter cranks slowly and engine has difficulty in starting. We changed to a new battery, still the same. We checked the wiring for any corrosion, everything has been cleaned. We had the starter removed and checked it it runs okay when removed. What seems to be the problem or mystery? I will appreciate your help.

Hi there,

I would be re checking the battery, cables, earths, terminal connections & starter motor. Short of the engine being extremely tight, it will be in the starter or the starter electrical circuit.
