You will need a 14 mm open end wrench and a small pocket flat blade screw driver. Find the switch above the brake pedal and find the electrical plug. Use the screwdriver to take it off. Then loosen the nut on the switch with your wrench. Next install the new switch and turn it in until its almost all the way down. Attach the plug. Check the lights and make sure the brake lights work. Next if your car has cruise control drive your car and make sure it still works. If may need to adjust the switch in or out a turn. Once all things are OK. Tighten the lock nut on the switch.

1. Disconnect wiring at switch.
2. Loosen locknut and remove switch.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Allow 0.039-0.196 inch (1-5 mm) brake pedal freeplay.
