Good evening,
While driving today, I notices a sound almost like whistling, or a high pitched squeaking coming from my car as I revved. I parked it, and let it rest for a couple of hours. I then started it again and it was vibrating more than normal. I could feel it in the shifter and the clutch. On my way home, my battery light came on. Finally, just as I was arriving home, my power steering gave out.
I think it may be an alternator belt, but I am not sure. I have never had it replaced, but I did get a new alternator about 3 years ago.
On a slightly related note, I am about 1,000 miles past due to for an oil change (been on this last bit for about 4,000-5,000 miles
Please help,

Thanks,
-Chris

Its should as you lost a belt or two
open the hood and check
make sure engine OFF
check oil level
late for oil change is ok as long as you have oil to level
should have it change 1st chance you get
