1994 Honda Civic Honda idle

I have a 1994 honda civic I did a engine swap to a d16z6 the car runs find but I hace a idle problem it likes to idle up and dwon when im at a stop between 1500 rpms to 2300 rpms, and some times it idles just a 2000rpms, when the d16z6 motor came out of the other car it idled fine.

Hi honda lx,

When the idling speed is high, there could be excessive air getting past the throttle body and possible causes are :

1. Insufficient coolant in system or clogged coolant hoses of IAC or cold start valve.
2. Bad PCV, leaking manifold gaskets.
3. Idle adjust adjustment out of specs.
