1994 Honda Civic cylinder head swap

I have a customer in that want's me to put a 1.5 head on a 1.6 block is this going to work if so what gasket kit should I get, and also a timing belt for the 1.5 and 1.6 are different with one would be used

Hi Matt,

Just forget that it is a 1.5 head. Related parts should be used for a 1.6 engine, eg gaskets, cam sprockets etc.
Both heads are similar but make sure it is from the same engine model.

THE HEAD IS FROM A D15B6 AND HE ENGINE BLOCK IS D16Z6. WHAT DOES THE B6 AND Z6 REFER TOO. THANKS

Hi Kosautoworks,

B and Z are different engine variants, eg 1.5 and 1.6.

6 = market the engine is destined for.
