HI.

I was trying to replace my fuel filter, but the Banjo nut seems to ceased. I was curious to know if there was a way or tool to use to remove it with out having to cut it off or drill it out. (Note. I have used wd40 and liquid wrench but to no avail.) Can I purchase a new Banjo nut if I have to use one of thoughs tactics? Now one more thing do you have to turn it the opposite way from what you would do when loosening a normal object?

Hi evolutionv111,

Sometimes the nut is very tight and difficult to release.

Use a 19 mm open end spanner to hold the neck under the nut and try again. A 17mm box would give you more leverage.
