My Civic previously went up a 30-45% grade hill, without issue, then after about a quarter mile it would not go into any gear. I was in 4th up the hill, then 5th for the quarter mile, I tried 3rd-5th and all acted as if I was in neutral. The car was running all the way until I pulled to a stop on the road, then gave me "engine trouble/Battery" warning lights. After that, the car will sound like it is going to start, but no turnover or spark, just a continuation of the starter. Any ideas or help? The motor is new from 315000 miles, only about 65000 miles on the new motor. The clutch was replaced at the same time.

If the vehicle doesn't start you are going to have to test for fuel and spark. One of these are most likely missing. Once you know which one is missing you can then diagnose the ignition system or fuel system.

I believe I have found the issue. I have fuel and spark, as those were the first things I checked. Looks like the Timing Belt decided to break, or something connected to it, as the Belt is not tight against the pulleys. Thank you for the advice though.
