1987 Honda Civic brakes

Brakes problem
1987 Honda Civic 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 300000 miles

I have replaced the brake MasterCylinder + brake booster and I have pedal but no brake. I hear a hissing noise of air coming out from under dash. Will the vacuum hoses not being properly reconnected cause this?

Hi there,

Disconnect the booster vacuum supply and block hose, is the noise still there, if not you have a faulty booster, a small vacuum hose off will not affect the booster, operation.

Did you adjusted the freeplay on the master cylinder/booster?
How about the freeplay on the pedal?
