1998 Honda City Engine Oil after Heating

1998 Honda City Front Wheel Drive Manual 194000 miles

Recently my engine came to upper heat limit due to a leak in the radiator, which I repaired after that. Now no leaks, water levels remain unchanged in the radiator tank. I want to know whether is there in effect to the engine oil (mobil 1000 15W40-about 2000km run) due to this heating, if so how to check. I am about to go for the emission check which is required for car licensing and do not want have any trouble due to above issue.

Hi there,

there will be no affect to the engine oil due to an over heat issue.
