My Honda Civic HX has a low idle and really bad acceleration. Fuel-injector problem?

Hi trav9332,

Low idling speed is usually due to dirty throttle body and IAC. Get them cleaned and readjust the idling speed.

As to poor performance, it could be anything from bad plugs and related parts to a bad engine.

Hope the low idling speed is not due to a bad head gasket. To know if that is the problem you would need to do a compression test.

Has vehicle ever overheated and does it has overheating or coolant losses issues?
