Stalls when slowing down or stopping

I have a 1997 Accord 2.2L automatic trans. When I start to slow down or come to a stop the car just shuts off. I have power but the motor stops running. I am able to put car into park or N and It starts back up no problem. Car runs like a champ as long as I don't need to hit the brake. And this happens every time I attempt to slow or stop.
