i just recently replaces the vavle cover. And I put the hole unit back together the way it came off and I just happen to pull one of the plug wires off and it had oil all over it and im not sure if its supposed to be that way. But it had some oil in that area before I replaced the gasket.I looked over all the gaskets after I got it back together and they all were in place still. And I really dont know that much aboout theese cars maybe its supposed to be there where its under the valve cover. But if anyone can answer this for me asap it would be appreciated

Not supposed to be in there. The oil is not good for wires, etc. Each of the plug wells is supposed to have a grommet or round gasket on it. They should be replaced when the gasket is replaced and probably best when ever the valve cover is removed. There is a blue silicone tube available at the parts store that you can use to apply to the grommets to seal them up but if you can go with the new ones so much the better.
